Customer Testimonials

Hey guys. Just wanted to throw out a big thanks to Ronaldo and Jim in service for their wicked service level they gave me while 3000miles from home. My stator and Voltage regulator gave up the ghost about 5 miles from the dealership on Jan 29th 2014, and being on a big trip down from Canada and a frickin long way from my own dealership up in Canada, they fired me in onto the lift, diagnosed the issue and had me back up and rollin' with a new stator, and regulator in less than 24hrs! It doesn't get much better than that guys!! Thanks a million for outstanding customer service and takin' care of things!

I was in Tucson Harley Sunday. When I got off my bike I noticed oil on the right saddlebag, valve covers, etc. I thought I may have blown an oil line so I went to the service dept to ask some questions. Brad Massengale came out and looked at my bike. I told him I had just had it serviced (not at Tucson Harley). He said it looked like too much oil had been added and it was blowing out. He also noticed a vacuum line was missing behind the air cleaner cover. I asked if I could ride it home, approx. 60 miles and he said no problem that it was more of an inconvenience that my engine and bike was going to have to be cleaned. He went the extra mile to offer to wash my bike and clean it up for free, except it was way too hot, but if I wanted to wait, he would. I thanked him and told him I would take it back where it was serviced. He told me to have them check the air filter since thats where the oil was apparently coming from (the vacuum line) that it may be saturated with oil. I told Brad that I had taken it to the other place for service twice since I bought it used and that both times now Tucson Harley had given me the correct info on what was wrong where the other shop didn't know. I will take my bike back and get this problem taken care of. However, I am so impressed, with the person I talked with on the phone the last time when a breather tube in the trans was clogged causing a pressure leak and now this quick and accurate diagnosis by Brad, that I will only use Harley-Davidson of Tucson from know on. I quit working on bikes after I retired so I need someone I can trust. Just thought others might like to know. Kenny Best

Dear TucsonHD,

I had a problem with my new 110th Anniversary leather jacket's zippers which finally broke rendering the jacket useless. It would of been a costly repair and never look the same. It was a gift and I had lost the receipt and your Motorclothes manger Jen helped me out and I got my jacket back today repaired.
Thank you Tucson HD and especially you Jen!

Sincerely,

Bruce Dzamba

In making the trip to purchase our NEW 2013 Ultra Classic in Tucson from El Paso was every bit worth it. A big THANK YOU to all the fine people at Tucson Harley. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed at their facility and we were made felt right at home . From that moment, I knew we were in for an awesome purchasing experience . I didn't receive this red carpet treatment when I bought my first Harley at Barnett harley davidson in El Paso.
Our saleman Chris Poole is a top notch person. He listened to what we were looking for and made every effort in making the purchase complete.Chris Poole assisted me through internet sales. After punching in what I was looking for , low n behold, I got I received a phone call from him alomost immediately. I would like to Thank several other fine gentlmen that assisted us .Paul Ryan, Roe, Jaime Oneele in finance, Gordy for giving a the Grand Tour of your facility in which is one of the best I've seen and Shawn in service for giving us tips on how to load and secure our new bike for transporting it back home.I apologize if i missed anyone .Their friendly, positive attitudes speaks highly of their staff and management. We look forward to our future ( Trike is next ) purchase form this dealership. I would most certainly HIGHLY recommend them to anyone purchasing a motorcycle to make the trip to TUCSON HARLEY as their sales people and staff are truly there to make your purchasing a experience one of the best if not THE BEST . They went above and beyond what I expected from a motorcycle dealership. Again thank you and God Bless

I won't have all the right words to express my 'thanks' to Steven Flores for such an awesome and plesurable experience I had at the dealership yesterday, 9 June 2012. But, here goes.

I wanted to recognize Steven for his professionalism, knowledge, and his integrity. It is a rarity today to find someone who is as genuine as this young man. Even in a market as today, I know this is his job, he is very respectful and courteous in his dealings with my wife and me. I know being in a business as service can be a very humbling experience, but he has the right demeanor and innate ability to deal with others.

I was completely impressed with Steven from the time we were introduced. I have been in this world a few years and I have made many purchases in life. But this experience was truly one in which Steven applied no pressure and was completley attentive to our needs. At no time, did he seem to be distant, or display any anger in my inability to make a decision. He was completley honest with us and was able to answer most of our questions. If not, he was forthright in letting me know that he didn't know this information. A rare thing today as we feel we have to know everything. My wife and I are looking at the ivory and teal 2009 Heritage Softtail. I still have a big decision to make, but dealing with this young man would sway my decision to say, yes. A completely pleasant experience that I wanted to make sure you were familiar with.

I wanted to take a moment to thank Steven and Ryan Bonner (honerable mention) for making this experience one which I will not forget. And, for being able to look at this purchase thru my eyes and not just one from strictly making a sale. God bless and you will hear from me tomorrow.

I recently had service done on my 2007 FLHX, when I brought my Bike in, it was not running. Chris was my Service Rep. he came out and helped me take the bike off the trailer and started explaining in great detail what they would do with my bike and what to expect. I must say that I was skeptical to say the least, I had just move out here from the northeast and my last experience with my Harley dealer was anything but stellar! Chris said he would call and fall up with any information he had and without fail, that is what he did. Unlike the last Dealership. He told me the bike would be ready by a certain date and , it was. Once again pleasantly surprised.

I asked Chris if you did detailing and he said you did. He explained what they would do and how the bike would look when done. Again very leery, seeing that I had the something done at my previous Dealership and the Bike came out with more scratches then when it went in.

When I arrived to pick my Bike up, I was more than pleasantly surprised, I was blown away with not only how good the bike looked but of the quality of work. I have left my other dealership and had to pull the bike over and complete the re-assembly of items that were worked on by this dealership. Chris and the service crew who work behind the scenes have convinced me that I have found a new home for my service and future purchases.

I purchased my bike at the old Grant & 6th Ave location for HD of Tucson. I moved away from Tucson for work in late summer/fall of 2007 and have returned this past feb. I had my bike transported on a moving truck and unloaded it at the back dock of the new store on the N I-10 EB frontage road using the F-truck at HD of Tucson. I scheduled a routine service to have the oil changed and everything else checked out and the technician found that my rear exhaust valve was unseated. Back in 2006 I had purchased the Extended Service Plan (ESP) and was told that the repairs would be covered after paying a $50 deductible. To my surprise, not only were the repairs covered, but a HD rental bike was provided to me for 2-weeks while my bike was in the shop to lessen the inconvenience of not being able to ride my bike during prime riding season. My service writer Andy Felts also suggested making a few 'improvements' while the top end was torn down to save on labor and I took his advice. There were definite challenges during the repair, but the staff handled each issue in stride and was able to deliver when I got to hear the improvements for the first time. Going from a stock 88 c.i. motor to a 95 c.i. with a nice cam, piston & head combination makes a huge difference in the hp & torque numbers as well as the overall riding experience. Starting my bike now is like lighting a pack of firecrackers made of sticks of dynamite !!! Pulling in the clutch and Putting it into first feels like cocking a gun... and twisting the wick is a whole new experience-

I had a wonderful experience at Tucson HD. Everyone was super friendly and unique. John assisted me all the way through the process and was very patient with me. I am a first time bike owner and rider. I had lots of questions and my dad could only answer so much. John walked me thorugh all the steps and heard me out through and through. He knew what I wanted and guided me straight to my new HD.I couldn't have asked for someone better to help me and I truly couldn't have asked for a better dealership to go to for assistance in my new found adventure. John, thank you so much for everything, you will truly be treasured in my heart. Thank you so much for my "Bell". I read how the "Bell" came to life, and that is a tradition I am going to continue with for everyone I know. Thanks again for everything, Nici C.

I had never been to any Harley-Davidson Dealerships before, Nicholas Casler, was the first person who greeted me as i walked in the door. The experience, the atmosphere, the tour of the store and departments, the knowledge of the difference of the families of bikes, and the service to finding the right "Tailored" bike to fit my needs and comfort was OUTSTANDING!. And i havent even made the purchase yet!! Im excited to go back and ride away on my first harley. And I would recommend anyone and everyone to come to Tucson Harley-Davidson to find out what great service is all about. And i would be sure to go back to Tucson Harley-Davidson when im due for another Harley.

Visited Tucson HD on March 13th due to a mechanical problem encountered with a rental HD from Phoenix. Andy FELTS was the Service Writer who immediately had the bike put on a bench in the Service Dept for immediate attention. The voltage regulator was deemed to be the problem. The bike was repaired within two hours and I was able to reach my destination of Tombstaone that evening. Thank you Andy and Tucson HD for keeping me on the road. James D. Alberta Canada.

I just had a fantastic, all-5 star experience with the Service Department at Harley-Davidson of Tucson. My 08 Dyna Low Rider had an electrical gremlin that caused unpredictable abrupt total shutdown. My best guess was a faulty ground somewhere but I also knew that I might have a failure in the main computer or some other expensive issue. The situation was further complicated by my having installed a non-HD race tuner. My service rep was Roe Harris. I did not meet the technician. He is listed on my repair invoice as James Coutu. When I dropped the bike off I expressed my fears of the worst to Roe. He did a great job of helping me bring my anxiety under control. I told Roe that I was willing to buy a HD race tuner if necessary. That's a $500 item. Although I did not get the bike in until early-afternoon Roe called me within an hour to tell me that the main ground wire was loose at the connection to the battery. Because the battery was four years old I asked Roe to have it replaced. I was charged for only 30 minutes labor, even though Roe had said when I dropped the bike off that I should expect a minimum of double that. This experience is radically different from the bad old days. Read on, but if you do please read to the end: Regarding Ben Luskin's remark posted on the testimonials page about "all of the 'chatter'...regarding poor service or attitude," it comes from years of abysmal experiences on the part of a multitude of customers. Many of us were forced to resort to other shops because our new bikes were not set up properly, because repairs were not done correctly, because unnecessary work was done to inflate cost, and so on. This sort of county-wide reputation does not come from a few dissatisfied customers, it can only happen when over an extended period of time a substantial number of customers have bad experiences. Under prior management, HD of Tucson earned its bad service reputation by delivering sub-standard performance. I wrote a three page letter to the former service department manager detailing my wife's and my multiple bad experiences with service. He did not trouble to reply to my letter or even acknowledge receiving it. He is finally gone, and under new leadership by Bret O'Connor the service department has performed a 180 degree turnaround. In the diagnosis and repair I describe above they had an opportunity to bang me in all manner of ways for hundreds and hundreds of dollars, but that did not happen. The reason I returned to give HD of Tucson Service another try was that someone from sales called me to tell me that a new Service Manager had been hired. This indicates to me that HD of Tucson's general manager knew he had a problem and prioritized fixing it. I'm thrilled to be able to take our bikes to be serviced at HD of Tucson because our experience with every other department of the dealership has always been superior. It takes time and sustained effort to regain trust and repair a damaged reputation Time will tell, but it looks to me as though top performance now extends to every area of the store.

Just wanted to let everyone know I traded in my Fatboy for a 2011 Road King Jon Dean was right the ride on that bike makes all the difference. Jon made the whole buying experience great, no pressure at all (Not Like a Salesman) more like someone looking out for you and what you want from a bike. Answered all my questions and went well above what most would do. Ryan Bonner made all the paperwork seem like a breeze even though I threw him a curveball using out of state financing he hung in there and got it done. My wife and I love the comfort of the new ride and hopefully I wont ever have to buy another bike but when she decides she's tired of riding behind me I will be back, I just hope those guy's are there to make it as great a time as this one was. Thanks to all that make it happen at Tucson HD.

Recently (December 2011) purchased a used motorcycle from the Tucson dealership. Went back in early January with a couple of issues only to discover that the salesman with whom I had been working with was no longer employed at the dealership. That is when I met Jon Dean. He completely stepped up and took care of everything for me. A huge "Thank You" to Jon for making everything right and making sure I was satisfied before I left the dealership. Another "Thank You" to Frank Barrera over in parts for making sure I got the right items I needed to complete my "Harley" experience. Thanks again guys !! Donald MacLean

Wow, you guys are awesome. . . I really don’t know where all of the “chatter” comes from regarding poor service or attitude. I’ve had nothing but the best service from Roe; Dwayne; John; Paul; Ryan; Sharon; Frank; AND MICHELLE! Et al! – everyone there is top notch! My old ’06 SG runs like a beast! Thanks to the gentleman who dyno tuned it (Mark Vasquez)!! We both (Ginny and I) always speak highly of Tucson Harley (sales, service, clothing) – a lot of times we just come down to peruse the store and visit! It’s a great place! Kudos to you and all of the staff – thanks to Danny – and thanks to ownership for the great store! We are customers for life and ambassadors of good will for Tucson Harley! Len and Ginny
