"MR. PAT CARAFFA IS TO BE COMMENDED ON HIS OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I TOOK MY BIKE IN FOR SERVICE AND FOR SOME REASON THE SERVICE WAS TO TAKE LONGER THAN EXPECTED. PAT CALLED ME LATER IN THE DAY TO INFORM ME OF THIS PRIOR TO THE PICK UP DATE. I DIDN'T GO INTO DETAIL WITH PAT, BUT I ASKED FOR A PROJECTED TIME. "My wife and I would like to briefly share our overall new customer experience at the Tucson, AZ Harley Dealer...
From the moment we entered the store, we were both greeted as if we were already Harley owners, kind of the way you feel when you visit with your family and true friends. Our sales rep, Matt McCracken, provided us with his complete attention as well as sharing his vast knowledge while answering all of our questions. His display of professionalism was appreciated and well received.
The experience then continued once each of us finally decided which bike we wanted. Yes, my wife and I each wanted to purchase a new Harley, so that's when Chris Poole joined the sales team.
Due to several unique and custom requests that we imposed in our deal, Chris' professionalism, honesty, and timely responses allowed my wife and I to accurately make up our minds and accept the deal. Chris' vast knowledge and skills in completing all of the necessary documentation for the immediate delivery of two bikes was extraordinary.
The bikes were delivered to our home the following day as promised by Evan. There were a few rain clouds that threatened us late in the day but he was able to arrive with only minimal drops on the bikes. He insisted on wiping each bike down and confirmed that all of our expectations were met.
Since receiving delivery of the new bikes, we have had one opportunity in which is was necessary to contact the service department. Their dynamic attention to the situation provided us with another positive feeling that the entire Harley Team delivers true and honest customer care when and wherever it is needed. Many thanks to Roe and Andy for their expeditious handling of our untimely situation. A+ for a job "Well Done."

"I ride with a group from Lake Havasu called the Goatheads, we were on a weekend ride to Tombstone and our first night stop was in Tucson.We just happened to stay next door and the first thing we did was visit your fine store.Well that was my undoing.I had been looking for a screaming eagle street glide and well lets just say you guys had the one I wanted. "It is my pleasure to speak in behalf of the representatives in sales and maintenance at the Harley Davidson Dealership in Tucson, Arizona.
During the past month I visited the showroom a number of times to 'dream'. I was thinking that at 70, I was too old to get another motorcycle. I had not riden for five or six years. A friend of mine, (nearly as old), has a Heritage Softail Classic and suggested that I put aside the age thought and hit the road again.
On Saturday, 8 May 10, I stopped by the Dealership to see if a used Heritage Softail was within my budget. I soon realized that if I were to purchase a motorcycle it would have to be a less expensive model. At that point the wonderment of the Tucon Harley staff started to unfold.
I was first assisted by Jon Dean and soon thereafter introduced to Ryan Bonner - around whom this narative will center. Also I must mention that during the purchasing experience I was also assisted by Doug, David, Paul, Chris and Ron. Each of these individuals added to the relaxed, informative and pleasurable experience of selecting and purchasing a motorcycle. All of the sales staff were patience when confronted with my seemingly never-ending sting of questions and misunderstandings.
In just a few minutes after first talking to Ryan I was informed that I was qualified to purchase a selection of bikes, even though in past years I had a 'cloudy' financial history.
Through the purchasing and delivery process, of the Sportster that I selected, Ryan was able to cheerfully and quickly solve each of my concerns; in some cases far beyond what I would have expected when purchasing a used motorcycle. We reached an agreeable price and proceeded with the sale. There were some minor maintenance items that Ryan eagerly arranged to have corrected. With the able crew of John and Ron in the Maintenance Department all descrepencies were attended to in a prompt, friendly and helpful manner.
Based on many years past experience of being in a hiring and firing position in a 650 person Corporation, I rate Ryan as the employee that I would want to be my representative to the public should I ever have command of a Company again. I would also want to employ each of the above mentioned individuals to be in my infrastructure.
It is gratifying, in today's busy and harsh environment, to find a business with a 'hometown' atmosphere that is desirous of providing products and services for the benefit of the customer and not just for the Company 'Profit'. After making a purchase at Tucson Harley, you will find on the receipt: "Thank you for choosing us - we appreciate your business!!". I know for a fact that they really mean what the statement says... The Owner/CEO can be well pleased with Ryan and the entire staff in his employ.

"I was in the greater Tucson area on business travel and had recieved an e-mail from Harley-Davidson inviting me to take a demo ride on the bike of my choice. So I contacted Tucson Harley about cashing in on this opprotunity to demo a 2010 model. The salesmen and rental manager Mike were a true pleasure to deal with. I leveled with them that I already owned 2 Harleys and really wasn't in the market to purchase another, and they were ok with me taking a bike for a "joyride" in a sense. They trusted that I would take excellent care of their bike and were more than happy to accommodate the request of a young rider in town for the weekend.
Overall I give them two huge thumbs up and thank them for their hospitality while I was in town.

"I wanted to take an opportunity to recognize your rental center employee Mike Willits. On may 2nd I rented a Strret Glide for the day for me and my wife to tour the Tucson area. Mike was there to greet us and get us on the road as quickly as possible. Mike puts the customer in customer service. "On a recent trip to Phoenix to visit the parents, we had a chance to visit with friends in Tucson. After having lunch we decided to visit your dealership for t-shirts and a shotglass. We were greeted by Tamara Chee (I have her B-card) and was told if you need anything just yell. (I'm sure she will remember me.) I yelled she came running, it was great!!!! "little did i know when I woke up that morning I would be ending my day a proud owner of a Sportster 1200 Custom. After more than 3 decades of riding darn near every brand of bike but a harley I decided to go over to my local Tucson Harley Dealer, "just for fun" with no real intention of buying one.
I was met at the door by Sam Fleitman and with his expert guidance I found myself believing that I too could not only afford to own a Harley, but it was in fact the best bike for me- bar none. I came in with very specific requirements that no matter how many times I narrowed down the choices Sam was right there with the perfect bike for me. It was due to his excellent customer service skills combined with the knowledge to answer all of my questions that put his salesmanship above any other motorcycle Rep I have encountered over the years and that was what finally convinced m to buy my first ever Harley.
Oh but that's not all. Shayne Clisham took me under his wing to make sure I got exactly the deal I wanted. I did not make it easy with my demands, but undaunted, Shayne, along with Chris Poole, were able to accommodate my every need.
By the time the deal was struck it was way past closing and yet not one single person there complained about having to go out of their way for me, in fact they seemed perfectly happy to stick around. Boy did I ever feel special!!!
A great big kudos for the team at Tucson Harley for making me one very happy biker!

"As a side note, my husband owns a Harley Road King. After riding with him twice, I knew I wanted my own ride. I took the rider's safety course two months ago and after receiving my endorsement, I bought a Honda 1100cc Sprit Shadow. We couldn't afford two Harleys and I wanted to ride sooner than we could afford my Harley so I bought a Honda. My first week out I took a spill, almost ran into my husband and managed to drive up a street curb. I tried not to let it get me down and kept riding whenever I could find a sitter for our 4 yr. old son.
Well after the Garage Party, I was so inspired to get on my bike that I made arrangements for a friend to watch our son EVERY Thursday evenings so I can get more practice. The next time out, I dropped my bike and I was so excited because I learned how to pick it up at the Garage Party. I remembered to put the kick stand down and my husband had to remind me to turn off the bike. I demanded that he not help me. I picked up my bike ALL BY MYSELF!!! I was on cloud 9. After my dropping my bike, we practice some more turning. Later that day, I rode my bike on Valencia at Wilmot and traveled 55 mph to Valencia and Houghton! I was in heaven. I also managed to roll through a stale red light that turned green without placing my feet on the ground. What a huge accomplishment!
Because of the Garage Party, I've been out more and learned how to pick up my bike.

"WOW!!!!! What a fantastic experience we enjoyed throughout our Harley-Davidson of Tucson Road King Classic purchase. During our first visit Sam helped us understand the differences between the motorcycles; the options offered and proposed costs. He listened to our needs, wants and concerns. He then presented his concerns, opinions and recommendations. We were ready to purchase but I wanted to review some other options and explained that I would be out of state for the next two months and I would be getting back to him (Sam) by the middle of July. Less than two months had passed and a follow-up phone call was received from Sam. He just wanted to know if a decision was made and if he could help the process in any way. I listened and explained that I would be in the dealership within the next two weeks to talk. Two weeks later I was sitting down with Sam F and Ryan B to discuss a deal. The service department has always seemed far removed from the excellent customer service I continuously received from the rest of the dealership. I have several problems with service over the years, but I keep giving them another chance. This last time, they finally got it right. I had scheduled some routine maintenance before leaving out of town for a Memorial weekend bike trip. On the way to drop the bike off, my throttle cable broke. The bike was towed in and Eddie went to work on trying to get it up and running before my Friday departure date. It was determined that a new throttle cable had to be overnighted. However as I feared, it did not arrive on time. Thursday afternoon I showed up to talk about our options. In the end, Eddie offered me free use of a rental so that I could still make my trip. Because of the inconvenience I had been through this time and before, Eddie waived all the additional charges on my bike so all I had to pay for was a warranty deductible. Finally, I am happy to say that Tucson Harley has great customer service in all aspects of their shop. Great job guys! Sincerely, Al McDonald"

"hi there, i was interested in buying a 3 wheeled Piaggio scooter and Matt, a salesman took the time and drive to explain everything to this first time scooter rider! He negotiated a price that i could live with, he asked me about me, my hubby, our kids and grandkids, but he especially asked us about a certain truck we have in common. to get back to my story, hubby and i only went in there to 'look' at the Piaggio scooters, and in only 2 hours i had rung the bell, where everyone came out and congratulated me, even though i didnt buy a Harley. "All that I can say is WOW.
My wife and I went on a road trip one weekend to the Grande Canyon and all we saw where bikes everywhere.
She looked at me and said "Just go down to Harley and get you one!".
I waited a few days and stopped in to check out a few bikes.
No matter what section of the store I was in, everyone made eye contact and said "Hello" or gave an acknowlegemnt of some kind that I was there.
Everyone in the sales team was great to deal with. It was like being with old friends for the first time in years.

"Hey All!
I’m not sure who will receive this, but I just wanted to start out saying how great I was treated by all of your staff during my crazy experience of buying my new CROSSBONES! When I first arrived at the dealership I had no intention of buying a bike that day. I had called to ask if I could get some insight on a 2003 Heritage Anniversary Edition that a friend of a friend was selling. I called to ask if I could see if someone wouldn’t mind looking at some pictures of the bike and see if any modifications had been made. I was transferred to Ray and he said, yeah, bring it on down. I was surprised that they would let me do this, most dealerships are kinda territorial and don’t like that. So I was very impressed that they said bring the pics in. that started my customer service experience, a great one I might add. So I show up, kinda intimidated cuz I haven’t been on a Harley since I was hit back in 91 and lost my knee. So I was kinda expecting some overzealous, pompus, we’re better than you kinda people. What I found was good people and a lot of help. No judgment was passed and no awkward feelings presented themselves. I was, again, impressed with the professionalism and genuine concern that I get a great bike. Wheteher it was from a friend of a friend or from the dealership. I walked in through the parts door and was greeted with alot of smiles and handshakes. They gave me great advice and questions to ask and even said I could bring it by for someone to look at. WOW, impressed again.
I decided while my wife and I were there to get a new shirt. When I walked out into the showroom floor and check out some shirts, I was greeted by a man named Carlos. He didn’t try to sell me on anything, he just asked me how my day was going and did I get the info I was looking for. We kinda struck up a conversation while my wife was looking at gear. My eye was caught by a seat that resembled my first Harley’s seat. For a lack of a better term, I call it an old bicycle seat. What I found was this incredible looking Springer, man was I in love! Carlos said, throw a leg over it. I told him that if I did I would fall in love with it. He made the suggestion again and I declined, but couldn’t help admiring it. Then my wife said, call the bank and see what they would do for us. Now remember what I said about not even showing up to buy a bike, yeah, that was out the window immediately. Next thing I know, its 9:30 at night and we got there at 3:30 and I’m the new ownwer of my dream! Damn, how a plan comes together.
Long story short, cuz I love to tell this story in every detail, many of which I have left out. I’m sure your glad for that! I am the proud new owner of a 2008 Crossbones! Carlos, Eric, Shayne, Chris, Ray, James, Franco, Danny, damn I forget names and I don’t want to leave anyone out, but I just wanted to say that I am extremely impressed with that crew. I was even invited out the next Tuesday, unfortunately I work at night. People who didn’t even know me, could have counted me as another number, didn’t. that really impresses me. I too, work in a service related industry, you have the right stuff. Genuine Hospitality! When something happens to you its service, when something happens for you its Hospitality Thank You to your team for treating me like a friend of a friend and not a statistic.

"We recently had an experience where we were on a bike run and all 5 bolts on the rear sprocket/rim broke off and we were stranded. We initially called into Harley Davidson as we had purchased the additional supplemental insurance and were wondering if we could obtain some assistance. We were told by the female who answered the phones that there was nothing she could do for us and that the insurance we purchased would not cover our incident. The following day we contacted our original sales person Shayne Clisham and he immediately arranged to have our bike picked up with no questions asked. We met with him the following day and he assured us that everything would be taken care of. He then turned it over to Jason Montgomery in service who took it upon himself to make our situation priority. We were constantly informed throughout the whole process of what was taking place and were extremely pleased with the professionalism in which they handled themselves. They exceeded their customer service in our situation and were both outstanding people. We just wanted to commend our experience with Harley Davidson due to these two men. They deserve more than just a pat on their back for backing Harley Davidson in the manner in which they did.

"I was recently shopping for a H-D from home, you know, the Internet, calling different dealers, all the usual. I even called Barnetts in El Paso thinking they are the biggest, they must be the best. How wrong I was! Even just talking to the salesman on the phone, I felt pressured and uncomfortable, I could only imagine what it would be like in person. Fortunately, My friend Tom had just bought a Fat Bob at the Tucson store and gave high recommendations. So, after visiting the website and deciding on the bike that I wanted, Tom and I decided to drive on down from Morenci Az, where we live and work. Upon arriving at the dealership I was warmly greeted by Sam and my H-D experience began. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with Sam. He treated me like a new found friend instead of a customer. He showed me the 105th anniversary SoftTail Custom FXSTC and I immediately fell in love. Sam went to great lengths to explain the details of the bike and answer all my questions. During the financing Shayne was absolutely great. He was very good at arriving at a plan that my wife, who is in charge of the budget and just about everything else, could agree to. During the entire process Sam was on top of everything, from making sure the bike was prep-ed to running paperwork and calling the insurance company. Through all of that though, Sam continued to make me feel like the most important person in town. You cannot teach that kind of service! Everyone there were perfect examples of professionalism. From the girls in the shop to the mechanic who advised me on the care of the bike. By the way, do they make a bike big enough for this guy? Holy Cow! Of course it was all topped off by the moment when I got to ring the bell and everyone in the store came over and shook my hand and congratulated me and welcomed me to the family. As I was getting ready to finally climb on my new bike, I was ask by one of the salesman, I unfortunately don't remember his name, how long had it been since I had ridden. I laughed and said "Well Over 10 years", He then said it would make him feel better if I would ride it around the parking lot a couple times to get a feel for it before getting out on the street. I happily obliged and was grateful for his concern. As it turned out I needed that little warm up cuz that was a little more bike than I was used to. I rode my new Softail home 180 miles with my friend Tom following in my pick-up. The next morning Sam surprised me with a call to find out if I made it home alright and if i liked the ride, which was a resounding YES! Harley Davidson should be proud to have the quality of people they have at the Tucson store. I will recommend to everyone I know, that if they want real service that's unrivaled by anyone, then Tucson Harley is where they want to go. I won't be buying anything Harley from anyone but you guys, you have earned my loyalty. Sam, thanks again, you are the best! Hope to see you out on the road, the first cold one's on me. "

I started my search fo a new motorcycle by shopping at several dealerships of all different brands. My last stop befor HD was Victory. I was treated with disrespect and indifference, and actually left the dealership swearing that they would not get my business if they gave me the motorcycle for free. "This being our first bike purchase, but having purchased/leased many 4-wheel vehicles from dealerships over the years , we were very apprehensive walking into your showroom for the first time. Expected was a combination of high pressure sales effort, moving us toward slow moving models, quick-shuffling salesmen with lack of technical & riding knowledge. Well, Paul Johnson quickly put us at ease and we observed none of the loathed car dealership practices. Having a tech background, Paul slowly and methodically first questioned us about our personal needs, then showed us how the various models that would or wouldn't meet our criteria. His knowledge of the designs put this engineer's mind at ease. Not once, did Paul hurry us or act reluctant to answer any of our rookie-like questions. We couldn't have dialed in a better first introduction to your dealership! We especially liked the team support coming from Shayne & Matt when Paul wasn't available during subsequent visits.
We ended up purchasing a new 105th anniversary Softail Custom and I immediately signed up for the safe driver course. Almost Concurrently, my wife headed for the retail clothing portion of your store! I can't say enough about how much I learned in the classes and how safety was the paramount consideration of Greg & Adair...along with a truly fun and open approach that epitomizes the Harley-Davidson credo.
Mitzi's team of sales ladies, Nickki, Katie, Cory, Tamara, etc. were super knowledgeable and so fun to deal with. We did shop around some for the required boots & leather items, but always came back to your store to find the superior quality items that we ultimately purchased...you get what you...

"Mt husband bought a 2008 new/used Harley only had 1200 miles on it, he noticed that the front end had a slight shake and that the handle bars were a little off, he called , they said bring it in, but he wouldn't be able to for a few days, so they sent someone out that day to pick it up, and we live in three points, Shayne is most helpful and awesome guy, we have never had customer service like these people give. "We went in on a Sunday and fell in love with '08 Dyna Fat Bob but the price wasn't quite where we wanted. I got a call to come on in and talk about it on Monday @ 3:00 to work out the deal with Shayne and George. Knowing I had to get to certain price we came together and closed the deal in record time becaise the kicker is I had told them I needed the deal done and the bike in the garage before my wife came home from work @ 5:00! With the deal done and the bell rung Evan loaded her up and we got her home and everything put away by 5:00ish. Not saying that the wife was happy BUT sometimes you gotta save them from themselves. We've been on it for a week now and love it! Thanks for all the hustle and support (and even a couch to sleep on if things went bad!)!!!!"

"NO Pressure!! Stoped in just to browse, spent some time with Matt, looking at several models. Matt's knowlege was very helful. I was looking to trade my 05 RoadKing.
After a few days I went back in and Matt and Shayne worked with me to achive the best value for my bike and put me on a new 08 FLHTC very quickly. This was the second Bike I have purchased from Tucson Harley and I have been pleased both times. They will take what ever time you need to help you find just the right set of wheels.
The whole staff came out after the Bell ring, you don't see that many places.
Norma did a fantastic with the new owner orientation.
The next day Matt, called to see if all was well. I had just returned home from a ride and was pleased to tell Matt I was very happy with the changes and handling of the FLHTC, Awsome Bike.

" When I walked in your place two weeks ago I was just looking, Dreaming and thinking I didn't have a chance. When I left it was on an 08 Softtail nitetrain with a smile that grasshopper at 75 on the I-10 couldn't wipe off.
Sam is great he listens to what the customer wants and needs, helps them get their bike without the pressure you get at other places. Shayne will help in any way possible to help you. Frank has everything you need to make a bike your own bike. Chris will have a bunch of paperwork for you but it is well worth it. "We own a 1996 Ultra Classic so we didn't need a new bike. We went in for bandanas and came out with a 2007 Ultra Classic. As usual, during our visit to the store, we looked over the new bikes. As we stood drooling over the new 2007 Ultra Classics, Eric came up and started talking to us. He knew all about our old bike as well as the different features between the 2007 and the 1996. We were very impressed with his knowledge of a bike that he had not had to be a "salesman" for. Because of his knowledge and comments, we stayed around talking and...voila...ended up buying the new bike. When issues arose, he was quick to work out a solution. The whole team, from intial talks to the signing of the papers, was great. Even though it was after 6 pm on a Saturday, which had been a big sales event at their place so you know they were exhausted, they remained until we were able to take our bike home with us that night. Thank you for making our purchase a good experience."

"I want HD of Tucson to know how pleased I (we) were with dealing with the following people. My wife (Val) and I started to consider purchasing a Electra Glide many months ago. We had the pleasure in getting in contact with Jim Edwards. Jim was always professional and had a wide range of knowledge pertaining to the HD bike. He was able to match our needs up with the right Electra Glide. It was because of his continued follow-up with us that kept the fire we had alive when it came to getting a new bike. We appreciate and thank Jim for his patience with us and all his help when it finally came to us purchasing our bike on 6-18-07.
More organizations should have people like Shayne Clisham. This was the person that put evrything together when it came to the actual paper work and purchase of our bike. We actually negotiated the purcahse on (Sunday) 6-17-07, however I had a hard time pulling the trigger. Jim contacted me on the morning of (Monday) 6-18-07 and said that Shayne had another idea. Through Shayne's persurveance the transaction was consumated. Shayne knew we had a motorcycle club function in Salt Lake City, Utah which we were leaving for on (Tuesday) 6-19-07. I told him the biggest stipulation was us having the bike ready for our run. He assured it would be, and it was. Not only did he get my bike ready he also had another club members bike ready as well. He did what he said he would do. I bought a 1999 Fat Boy from HD of Tucson seven years ago. The experience this time was much more enjoyable then last time. The main reason being Shayne and Jim.
Chris Poole in the finance department did a good job. I thank him for his explanation of the after market products.
John Konke was remarkable when he explained the features of the bike when I took delivery the evening of the 18th. It was apprximatley 6:30 or 7:00pm. He stayed and went thru the bike with me. We left on the morning of the 19th and did the break in of the bike excatly as John instructed us to do. Not going over 55mph and keeping the rpm's below 3000 for the first 500 miles. I thank him for is very thorough explanation of the bike and how to break it in.
I do not believe I left anybody out. The point is everyone did an extrodinary job. It was a real plaesure doing business with HD of Tucson. It is very obvious that the organization is taking huge strides in customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work and do all you can to keep good people like the ones I mentioned in this comment section. I have been in the retail side of the car and RV business for 23 years. So many organizations work at getting quality people, however do not work at keeping quality people. I hope you as a organization realize you have somne real good people, work to keep them. For they work to show how much they care for the organization and your customers.

"This was a great experience for me. I came to the dealership to look at the bikes and to see if I would be able to afford a motorcycle. I was greeted by everyone in the store as I passed them, and was helped by Matt in sales. When Matt asked me if I needed any help I told him I was just looking so I didn't want to waste his time, because I knew he worked on commission. Matt's response was "It's no big deal I can show you the bikes, I am not worried about my sales." For the next thirty minutes Matt showed me the bikes, answered all my questions, and didn't even try to pressure me into buying a bike. After looking at the bikes and getting some prices, I found that a new bike was going to be more than I wanted to spend. I told Matt what my budget was and which bike I though I would want to purchase. At this point Matt said that a couple of used bikes had come in and he showed me a 2005 1200 XL-R in the back that had just come in. This bike was the exact color and model I was looking for and only had 800 miles on it. Matt showed me everything that was different between this bike and the new ones, got me the price and helped me thru the purchasing process. Shayne also helped me get the payments to where I wanted them.
Long story short: I got an amazing used bike that looks brand new, at an insanely cheap price, which they delivered to me, and it is because of Matt's help that I walked out of the store with my first Harley-Davidson. Matt was great at helping me choose a bike that fit me, and I couldn't be more happy with him as a salesman. I plan to send all my friends to him for their motorcycle needs."

"My husband and I went to HD-Tucson yesterday just to look around and maybe find out what we needed to do before buying a bike. We walked out with not just one, but two 2007 Street Bob's (after reading some of the testimonials, it looks like this happens often)! Matt McCracken was an amazing salesman, he didn't push us or make us feel on the spot and I knew we were in the right hands when he informed me that a bike I liked was too big for me (most people just want the sale, but he wasn't going to put us on a bike that wasn't the right fit). We are both new riders and could have easily been taken advantage of by salepeople, but not for one second did we get that impression. We just told him our price range and he was off! Matt even stayed patient when I had to sit on two separate bikes 5 times each to make sure I was getting the one that I liked best! Next we dealt with Shayne Clisham, another great guy! He wheeled and dealed the bank into beautiful (and do-able)financing and down payments. We wouldn't be the happy owners we are today if it wasn't for him working his magic. Finally, we have the fastest pen in the west, Tim Trechter who got us through all of the paper signing in record time, yet fully informed and totally entertained!! He even stayed after closing to make sure we had all the information we needed. Shayne even told us that the adjustments that needed to be made to my husband's bike would be done sooner than we were told, and they would deliver them all the ways to Sierra Vista for us. They really went out of their way to make everything as smooth and pleasurable as possible. Everyone was just so great, I spent the rest of my evening wondering why we hadn't done this sooner! They are more like a family there, than co-workers, even Cate Thomlinson (the "helmet girl")and Gordy Krueger ("extra fun stuff for your bike" guy) were informatiive and as excited for us as they would have been for their own bike purchase. Overall it was just a great and really fun buying experience which (thanks in large part to the ease of purchase)I will NEVER regret. "I just wanted to share our experience with Tucson Harley Davidson in our purchase of a 2007 Softail Deluxe. It all started by meeting our salesman Erik. From our first meeting we felt at ease. Erik was very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. His knowledge of all the Harley Davidson models helped my wife and I in choosing the motorcycle that suited our needs best. He was also instrumental in locating our Deluxe with the options and colors we wanted. From there we met Shayne and settled on a price and added the service plans and warranties we wanted. We also met with Chris and added some extra accessories to our Deluxe. Next came our meeting with Tim to complete all the necessary paper work and he also explained all the warranties and service plans. We then met John to go over the break-in period, and the operating controls of our Softail Deluxe. Everyone involved made this our best experience in buying a Harley Davidson to date. "I wandered in one day just to test the waters and see if a Harley was the right bike for me and if it was really something I could afford to do. Eric Beaudot introduced himself and we spent a half hour talking about different bike styles and the various things to consider when selecting just the right bike. He was informative and exerted no pressure on me to buy anything. He gave me his card, wrote down my contact info and the type of bike I was looking for, and I left.
For the next 2 months Eric was very patient with me as I visited the store almost weekly looking for just the right bike. Not once did I feel like he was tired of seeing this same old customer who always looked but never closed the deal! He called me a few times to drop in and check out something he thought would fit my budget and my riding needs.
We finally settled on a beautiful green UltraGlide and I was able to take my turn at 'ringing the bell'!

"October 6th We visited Tucson HD with the intention of picking up a Tshirt and browsing about. A cobalt blue FLHTCU caught our attention and we were looking it over when Bud approached and started visiting. We visited and as we did he pointed out some of the new features of this scooter, he answered our questions and was informative and in no way pushy. But he did say "you know the bike you go home dreaming about tonight will be sold tomorrow". Well we still were pretty much in the "just browsing mode" but later that evening we talked about it a little more. Pretty soon our discussion was "let's stop in and talk some more and get more details" and of course part of our concern was what will our 98 FLHTCU bring in trade. Sooooooo we go back into the store and sure enough the cobalt blue 2007 FLHTCU is marked SOLD!! On this day we talked with Rain and Shayne, who were both helpful courteous and willing to take all the time we needed to ask questions and Shayne got busy and found us a blue cobalt blue FLHTCU on a truck heading for Tucson HD. So on to the details of price and trade and extras ect etc. Everyone spent a lot of time with us and were very patient and willing to do whatever it took to complete a deal with everyone coming away pleased. On October 21st we finalized the purchase. Due to prep and additional extras to be installed we didn't take possession until the next day. Tucson HD saw to it that we had a ride to the Motel, and Rain picked us up the next morning. Bud also came in on his day off to make sure that we were picked up at the Motel, and to see us off along with Shayne, Rain, Rick, and Chris. And so we were on our way home on a gorgous Sunday afternoon on our new bike and couldn't be more satisfied. My wife Mary mention to me later that evening that just about every 15 minutes on route home my words were: "This is sooooo nice!" This is a much improved FLHTCU and you really need to ride it to get the feel.

"When I was a small child, my dad got an ElectraGlide. I remember when he came home with it, I was fascinated by this huge thing. Of course, the first thing I said was 'Let's go for a ride' and once we were moving, 'Daddy, go faster!'. For my 12th birthday, my dad gave me my first motorcycle. I LOVED that thing and was on it EVERY day. Somehow, in all the changes that go on in life, the motorcycles got left behind, but my love for them never did. I’ve always wanted my own Harley Davidson Motorcycle, but just never said it out loud. Not often, anyway.
When we visited Harley Davidson Tucson on 8/21/06 to obtain a motorcycle for my husband Bill, I was like a kid in a candy store! I put our kids up on a couple of bikes and let them get a feel. The first thing out of our son’s mouth 'How fast can this go?'
While Bill was doing the paper work with Tim, Mike showed me a bike. The model I’ve most often coveted, the 883 Custom. A RED one. I jokingly mentioned to my husband that he should just tack my bike on to the bill!
We were back the next day to get my red 883C. When our son and I rang the bell to signify the sale, every person in the store walked up and congratulated me on my cool 10th wedding anniversary gift! I was almost in tears.

"When I went down to look at the Buells, I was pretty sure that I wanted one, but was still a little "iffy" because that would mean having to deal with a Harley dealership. I've had less than stellar dealings with other Harley dealerships, but I have to say that the entire staff at the Tucson dealership is great. Erik was great showing me around and letting me see all the different bikes. Shayne got me a great deal on the bike. Chris and John were also very helpful in getting things done and getting me on my way. They even stayed well after closing to finish it up that day. No overbearing sales pitch, not trying to force into something we did not want or couldn't afford was a fresh experience from dealerships in the past. "My husband and I recently visited the Harley Davidson store inquiring about a custom bike we were conisdering buying. Ron was awesome, very informative and tons of warm fun; showing us bikes, never hard selling us, just reminding us how much we'd love it. Off we went, without a Harley, searching for more information on the custom bike.
When we found out the custom bike wasn't worth the investment, we dreamily found our way back to the Harley store, never really imagining we would get one. We walk up and there's Garrett, on this awesome huge bike they just got in, glowing like a kid, yelling "Sign me up!" Definitely an employee who loves the product and willing to show it. Ron was busy, but Garrett was more than willing to help. He was so awesome, full of excitement, answering questions we didn't even know we should ask and making sure I knew how to ride safely-"Be careful, don't be like these crazy kids". Part teacher, friend, brother, and dad all in one.
And now that I think of it, EVERYONE was that way - like family. From the person who sold our helmets, to our Chrome Specialist, to even our finance guy Chris (now, who knew they could have such personality?), everyone was full of engagement, excitement, knowledge and stories. We felt like the only customer in the building and never felt "sold", as we pile up on the accessories, helmets, shades, and checking out the jackets.
This was not a sales experience, it was more like a family reunion. Thank you Harley Family for being a part of one of the best days of my life. "

"Where to start, On June 25th 2006. My wife and I had decided to try and rent a bike for the 4th of July weekend. When we got there Eric took us to the Rental Guy,(sorry I'm bad with names I don't remember)But with such short notice this just wasn't going to happen. He said "Take a look around there are a lot of good deals." My wife and I at this moment made a commitment IT"S TIME TO DO THIS! Now, Not having owned and riden in over 15 years, (and not a Harley) But knowing that my next motorcycle would be a Harley---I was feeling a little out of place. And after all these years, I was still undecided between total comfort, or the more custom look! But Eric made us feel at home he listened to what we would be doing on our motorcyle, And he knew the look I wanted, I did ask about the Beautiful Thunder Mountain Bikes. But Eric still wanted us to see what would suit us seeing how we would both be on our new purchase. When we went back in to the showroom and passed right by this Gorgeous! Customized! Road king! Custom. With all the trimings! Low, Bosani pipes, Full flow intake, Chrome everywhere, Custom wheels, More Chrome every where!! hard leather bags, and did I mention Chrome! I thought No Way, and stayed quiet, and walked on by. Eric showed us all the great suitable bikes for us, From your Softtails, and the tough looking Softtails w/springer forks. to the road kings with bags and w/o. and then I asked "Your not going to show me that customized Road king are you" he replied "Of course I am" I told him "It's probablly way out of our reach!" he said "You'll probably be surprized" he mentioned the phrase about "Making Dreams Come True" and of course I thought Okay, but sure enough I was very surprized and pleased! Next was the usual app. etc. this next process took quit awhile and Eric never left, He answered many question's and offered much advise and kept us in our dream, even though we still didn't think it would happen. Shayne took the ball. AND RAN with it, and run he did, Because Rockafeller's and Hughes were not!! and he didn't give up,I know at any other place we would have already been packing. You know the old saying the checks in the mail. This was really the case for us. We didn't have the down payment right then and there, and with a Bike, A "HARLEY" like that it wouldn't be there long. That's when the family like enviorment and "Making Dreams Come True" really showed it's colors, Even though we were feeling----again like we didn't belong. Everyone there still made us feel comfortable and at home. Then another salesman Jake came up with a great idea to help the situation,(this is to cool a salesman helping another salesman) Shanye took the idea and gave it his all, and Wow!! Our Dream is now a Reality. Our expirence at Harley Davidson of Tucson is a memory and a story to tell for decades to come. From Chris's patients with my annoying cough, too Jake---great idea, Shayne---you had your work cut out for you. And oh yeah thanks for the concern on our safety-(helmets) this was really a gesture, Eric---your encouragment kept us believing, Heck he was telling people it was our bike long before it was a done deal and they wouldn't touch it. and I know you put the bug in Shayne's ear for the helmets., Bill--running me thru all the pre ride info, and the rental Guy (Sorry name?) Thank You All!!!! But we do have one regret....WHY DIDN'T WE DO THIS SOONER!! Other ompany's don't have a clue. We have expirenced that first hand, Rude, I think I owed them something?? Anyway Keep up the good work, And Make Those Dreams Come True!!!!!"

"I rang the bell! After attending a "for women only" 'Garage Party' at Tucson Harley-Davidson, I was positive that I wanted to own and ride my own bike. With the help of Garrett and Shane, we made it happen! These two guys worked very hard to make sure that I had a positive Harley experience, working out financing and helping me choose the bike that was right for me in every way. Additionally, James in the Parts Department helped me choose some awesome accessories that also improved the safety of my bike. Chris guided me through the paperwork and helped me to choose the extended service plan that was right for me. Bill did a great job during the "walk-around", familiarizing me with the bike. During the time when the accessories were being added to my bike, Garrett stayed in almost constant contact with me, keeping me up-to-date on the progress of the work being done. This weekend my wife and I were on a weekend tour in the Tucson area on our 05' Road King when we started hearing a grinding noise coming out of the engine. Carefully, we rode over to Harley Davidson of Tucson just before closing time. As soon as we arrived, the staff immediately looked over the bike and agreed to bring it into the shop and open it up in the hopes of fixing it, even though the shop planned to close in 20 minutes. Mad Mike was coordinating everything and told us that it was going to be at least a one hour project. The guys would stay and do whatever it took to get it repaired, no matter how long it took. After pulling the engine open and determining that the needed repair was more extensive than hoped we left the bike at Harley Davidson of Tucson, rented a car and drove home. We could have trailered the bike home but we were so impressed with the level of support we received by everyone we met at the dealership we decided to have the repair completed there even though we live over 400 miles away. My wife and I both look forward to coming back when the job is completed and riding back to California together. Thank you so much for your outstanding customer service! "I recently bought my first Harley. I was completely impressed with the level of customer service I received. From top to bottom, this is the best-run organization I have dealt with in a long time. I have purchased several vehicles in my lifetime, but I have never had as an enjoyable time as I did when I bought this bike. I’ll admit that I was intimidated looking at the new motorcycles. I was approached by one of the salesman by the name of Jake. Rather than attempt the hard sell, he seemed like he was just there to answer my questions, and I had a lot of them. Once I decided what I was looking for, I was introduced to Shayne. He and I went through my concerns and my expectations. Shayne handled every request with a 'can do' attitude. I had a monthly payment in mind and Shayne help me hit that target. He was able to provide me with what I wanted and still keep the payments in the range I needed. This was not an easy task, but Shayne is a professional. Before I drove the bike out, Gordy went over every aspect of the new bike with me until I felt confident enough to drive it on the streets. Jake even offered to follow me out on the streets, just so I would have someone to share the ride with. Then next day I meet Rick in parts. This guy has hooked me up every time I go see him. Again, his 'whatever it takes' attitude is a welcome change in a world where most employees are out to do the least amount possible and still collect a paycheck. Whatever I need, Rick sees to it that it happens.
When I was negotiating what I wanted on the bike, Shayne told me 'That’s no problem, Al. We are here to make dreams come true.' At first that struck me as a little hokey, but the more I dealt with these guys, the more it became clear that they actually show up for work to fulfill that commitment. Every interaction with them is inside the context of 'This is an opportunity to make someone’s fantasy a reality.' That context has everyone happy to be at work and the attitude is contagious. You just want to be around all these happy people. I can’t say enough about the experience I had with the people at Harley-Davidson of Tucson. Thank you for giving me the ride of my dreams!
